To those considering Erik as a counselor, I would like to encourage you – he is a genuine man of faith.  Erik’s guidance for my husband and myself really facilitated the Holy Spirit in working rather remarkably in our marriage after many years of impasse in communication.  Erik was personal and humble, and clearly faithful to scriptural guidance.  At the same time, it was not just Erik himself, but the action of the Holy Spirit (enabled by Erik’s faith), that healed our division and deepened our ability to be truly of one mind and heart.  My husband and I have never been closer in our marriage.  It is a deep and satisfying agreement based on our faith – the way marriage was intended.  This may sound young or naïve or even improbable if not impossible, but my husband and I have been married for over 4 decades, and to have finally achieved this kind of oneness, and the deep companionship it enables at this stage of our journey, sort of defies description.
